Places That Can Get Missed During Office Cleaning

Places That Can Get Missed During Office Cleaning

Today, we’re here to go over some of the places people might miss while getting office cleaning done.

In an office setting, there are many areas that need to be cleaned. Many of these areas are easy to notice and address. Other areas, however, might end up getting overlooked during the office cleaning process. Today, we’re here to go over some of the places people might miss while getting office cleaning done.

Window Blinds

Many offices have window blinds for their windows. While the windows themselves often get attention during office cleaning, the blinds can sometimes be forgotten. Because of this, you’ll want to add window blinds to your office cleaning checklist. These blinds should be cleaned roughly once every month to prevent excessive dust accumulation.

Office Plants

When you think of office plants, you probably think about how important it is to water them. While this is certainly important, you also have to remember to address them during your office cleaning routine. Fortunately, this can be done fairly quickly. A simple swiffering with a feather duster is all that’s needed to get rid of pesky dust on the plants around your office.

Kitchenette Appliances

Offices will often have a kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, and other kitchen appliances. Given that this is an area where food and beverages are involved, that makes it an important area to be cleaned. Make sure to clean this area at least once per month. That includes both the outside and the inside of these kitchen appliances.

Fluorescent Light Casings

Fluorescent lights can be difficult to reach, and this means that they are less likely to be cleaned than other parts of your office. Nevertheless, these light casings are places where flies, spiders, and dead moths collect. It’s good to vacuum these critters out of your lights every now and then. That way, you’ll have cleaner lights, and these lights are also helpful for contributing to a cleaner environment.
